BRONCO OFF ROAD DRIVE EVENT
UX/UI REDESIGN
This project was a unique experience for an event to showcase the launch of a vehicle and celebrate its iconic heritage—the Ford Bronco.
UX/UI can be much more than just an app or a website. The purpose of this redesign was to improve the experience through multiple user touchpoints.
USER EXPERIENCE
An experience is observing, feeling, and interacting with the environment in which a user is immersed in. This experience was to test drive the new Ford Bronco for vehicle order holders. Through research and implementation of an exciting design, I hoped to provide a memorable experience for the user.
EMAIL + WEB
The first few touchpoints involved the email and web communications that invite and prepare the user for the event. These informed, reserved, and kept the users interacting with all things “Bronco” while waiting for the event to take place.
WAYFINDING
An important touchpoint in the experience is the actual event. Wayfinding visuals will direct the user through the experience. Signage and other visuals keep the user visually engaged while attending the event.
DESIGN ELEMENTS
Expanding on an existing brand, I used shapes that the Bronco team designed and brought them to life for uses such as social media icons. I also designed a topography-like grid system that flows across the entire visual identity.
KEYCHAINS
Merchandise is a vital touchpoint as a reminder of the experience for years to come. Keychains can be worn on a backpack, key ring, or even a Hydroflask bottle for the more adventurous user that the Bronco inspires.
T-SHIRTS
Shirts are not only an item for the user, but also the staff, or even the users who did not have the opportunity to attend. Having a free giveaway, as well as a variety of shirt options for purchase will drive user satisfaction.
