ENTERPRISE HALL ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS
BRANDED WINDOW DECAL DESIGN
Designed a permanent environmental graphic installation for the glass atrium of Enterprise Hall, which houses the Costello College of Business at George Mason University. Spanning ten window panels, the installation celebrates Costello’s students while creating a bold, welcoming landmark that reinforces both the Costello and George Mason brands for prospective students, faculty, corporate partners, and visitors.
CHALLENGE
Create a large-scale installation that would become a lasting visual centerpiece without competing with the building’s architecture. The design needed to accommodate the atrium’s window mullions, maintain visibility into the building, showcase real Costello College of Business students, and seamlessly integrate the university’s refreshed branding and messaging.
SOLUTIOn
Working closely with Costello leadership, I developed the overall concept and designed a cohesive composition centered around five current Costello business students representing different academic disciplines. The layout strategically aligns imagery and typography across ten glass panels while incorporating the university’s All Together Different tagline to strengthen the connection between Costello College of Business and the broader George Mason brand.
Every image was professionally retouched and color-corrected to ensure consistency and clarity at architectural scale. I also collaborated with the university's signage team and their preferred print vendor (More Vang) to finalize measurements, production specifications, material selection, and installation details while preserving natural light within the atrium.
IMPACT
Installed as a permanent feature of Enterprise Hall, the atrium graphic has become a highly visible centerpiece that welcomes thousands of students and visitors throughout the academic year. By featuring real Costello students, the installation creates an authentic sense of community while strengthening the college’s identity and providing a recognizable backdrop for campus photography and events.
